Anyone who has difficulty getting on and off the mat; those wanting to bring yoga to their desk or wherever it is impractical to roll out a mat.
Description: This series will take the student through breathing and relaxation techniques, as well as full yoga practices, including warm-ups, postures and savasana/final relaxation. Modifications will be taught and the use of props will be demonstrated and encouraged.
Benefits: Benefits of practicing chair yoga include increased flexibility, joint range and mobility, muscular strength and endurance, balance and coordination, improved breathing and enhanced relaxation.
Notes: Wear comfortable clothes and bring water to hydrate.
