Current Series: Tuesday, September 3rd, 10th, 17th, & 24th
Students will explore the realm of guided relaxation through conscious breathing practices, progressive muscle relaxation exercises, visualization, and guided imagery techniques during this four-week series. Each class offers a new adventure and an opportunity to let go of the stressors and tension that we sometimes don’t even know we are holding within our body and mind. Some of the benefits of a guided relaxation practice include: greater mental clarity, reduced anxiety, better sleep, more energy, lower stress, and improved health.
We will demystify meditation and make it user-friendly through the exploration and practice of meditation techniques throughout this series. Participants will be able to take home what they learn in class, practice it during the week, and receive reinforcement and assistance each week to continue to deepen their meditation practice. Meditation brings the brainwave pattern into an alpha state, which promotes healing.
The Guided Relaxation and Meditation Series is for anyone who is curious or interested in learning more about guided relaxation and meditation. It is for those who wish to improve their health and manage stress and anxiety more effectively
