A studio for everybody and every body
Peg Oddy, RYT 200
Peg’s yoga journey began in 2006 at what was then Peaceful Yoga and is now Bliss Yoga & Wellness Center. “Even before my first class, I felt a calling to yoga,” says Peg. “Then, I started passing signs for a free yoga class on my way home from work. With a dear friend, my yoga journey began. It grabbed me at the start, and over the years, my love for yoga has continued to grow.”
In June 2012, Peg graduated from the Life’s Journey Yoga & Wellness teacher training program which was aligned with the Hatha tradition and instructed by Christopher Baxter from Inner Sky Yoga (ISY). ISY teaches kindness — to one’s self and to others — on the mat and off.
Off the yoga mat, Peg is Sales Manager at Clay County’s newspaper, Clay Today. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Art from the College of St. Rose, and she sits on the Board of the American Cancer Society, Clay County. Peg, who is married, says she enjoys “investing in life;” she has eight children, 13 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Share Peg’s joy of life and yoga! She invites you to “devote 75 minutes to your well-being on the yoga mat, focusing on your body, mind, and spirit while discovering all the wonderful benefits that yoga has to offer.”
