Our first “Praise & Worship” yoga class

Our first “Praise & Worship” yoga class took place Sunday morning, Jan. 10 at 8:30.

Pictured left is Rachel, one of our new students stretching beautifully in extended Mountain pose (Tadasana) in that class. Rachel returned this past Sunday and felt her yoga practice bring relief to her tight back and shoulders felt prior to coming to the studio.

Pictured left is Michelle, a dedicated yoga student who has been with us for a while. Michelle was delighted to participate in Monday’s Hatha/Raja 9:00a.m. class after a work-related absence from the studio. When she zipped into a Split (Hanumanasana), she was thrilled to see/feel the high level of flexibility she has maintained in spite of her studio absence. We’re sure Michelle’s ongoing deep breathing and stretching whenever she can during her travels assist her in this regard. “I hear your voice and teaching instruction when I’m on the road, which brings me calm,” Michelle said to our instructor Penny. (Way to take your practice off your mat and into your everyday life, Michelle! Come back soon!)

Come stretch YOUR body, mind, and spirit with us in our nurturing healing environment! And, we won’t make you do a split if you don’t want to!:-) We have a variety of beginner classes, if that’s what’s right for you. Want a bit more of a challenge? We’ve got you covered, too.
