Ready to power up physically, mentally, and spiritually?

Power yoga is a general term used in the West to describe a vigorous, fitness-based approach to Vinyasa-style yoga (see our Vinyasa Flow Yoga description). While our Power Yoga class, like Vinyasa, will move at a faster pace than our Mind/Body class, the pace of the Power class could also be toned down to allow for a longer holding of the postures and a more a meditative-like focus of the breath. The style of the teacher will determine the class pace and length of posture-holding.

Because Power yoga does not follow a set series of poses, any Power yoga class can vary widely from the next, however, what each Power class will have in common is an emphasis on strength and flexibility. And because each of our yoga classes embrace mind, body, spirit elements, it is our hope that while you are powering up, physically, on your mat, you will view that as an outward expression of inner strength to take off or your mat into other aspects of your life.
